(OK, misschien niet zo ernstig. Maar toch, voor de meesten van ons klinkt dat niet als een leuke tijd). Voor atleten die trainen voor een marathon of triatlon is het van vitaal belang om te trainen met trainingen van lage en hoge intensiteit - en dat allemaal terwijl ze hun energie, motivatie en passie voor de sport proberen te behouden.</p>\n<h3>Waarom is training met hoge intensiteit belangrijk?</h3>\n<p>Hoewel veel van de trainingssessies op een lage tot gemiddelde intensiteit worden uitgevoerd, zijn er wekelijkse sessies met hoge intensiteit en berekende snelheidsintervallen voor zwemmen, fietsen en hardlopen. Deze trainingen zijn bedoeld om de snelheid en VO2 max van de atleet te verhogen (de maximale hoeveelheid zuurstof die het lichaam kan gebruiken tijdens een bepaalde periode van meestal intensieve training), wat de efficiëntie op de wedstrijddag en daarna zal verbeteren.</p>\n<p>Een ander voordeel van intensieve trainingen is dat je je lichaam voorbereidt op de stress van de wedstrijddag. Het is uiterst belangrijk om intensieve trainingen in alle drie de disciplines op te nemen om volledig voorbereid te zijn.</p>\n<h3>Hoe helpt een zwemspa?</h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_128\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https://michaelphelpsswimspa.nl\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-128\" class=\"wp-image-128 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https://michaelphelpsswimspa.nl/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Michael-Phelps-Swim-Spa-train-fun-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Train hard in een michael phelps spa van master spa's\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"></a><p id=\"caption-attachment-128\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hoewel trainen in een zwemspa atleten de mogelijkheid geeft om hard en intensief te trainen, is het ook gewoon leuk om in een zwemspa te trainen!</p></div>\n<p>Met de Michael Phelps Swim Spa van Master Spas heeft de sporter de mogelijkheid om te trainen op alle intensiteitsniveaus in elk klimaat en op elk moment van de dag.
