Master Spas heeft het debuut aangekondigd van een nationale televisiespot met zwemkampioen Michael Phelps.

\n\n\n\n

De 60 seconden durende commercial, die Michael Phelps Swim Spas by Master Spas promoot, herinnert consumenten eraan dat ze \"geen Michael Phelps hoeven te zijn om te trainen als Michael Phelps\". De commercial opent met Phelps die zijn kenmerkende armstretch doet, die wordt geïmiteerd door vijf zwemmers van verschillende leeftijden, voor een Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spa van Master Spas. De hot tub-functie van de zwemspa wordt gedemonstreerd en eindigt met een humoristisch moment tussen Phelps en een meisje dat uitrust op een vlot.

De Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spa lijn is speciaal ontworpen door Master Spas met inbreng van 23-voudig gouden medaillewinnaar Michael Phelps en zijn coach. De zwemspa stelt gebruikers in staat om in de privacy van hun eigen huis te genieten van de effecten van watertraining op het hele lichaam. Deze innovatie combineert de energiegevende voordelen van zwemmen, training en aquagym in één revolutionair product.

Volgens Bob Lauter, CEO van Master Spas, wilde het bedrijf een commercial produceren die eruit sprong. Daarom kozen ze voor een bekroond team dat spots heeft geproduceerd voor vele iconische merken.

\"Onze exclusieve lijn zwemspa's met Michael is enorm populair en heeft onze dealers geholpen een nieuw publiek aan te trekken\", aldus Lauter. \"Deze commercial laat op een leuke manier zien dat Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas zijn ontworpen voor vrijwel iedereen, ongeacht leeftijd of vaardigheidsniveau, en het hele jaar door kunnen worden gebruikt. De nieuwe commercial geeft kijkers ook een glimp van Michaels beroemde, vrolijke gevoel voor humor.\"

Er werd veel tijd, energie en middelen geïnvesteerd in het productieproces. De crew gebruikte bijvoorbeeld een RED High-definition digitale camera zoals die gebruikt werd bij het maken van \"Oz the Great and Powerful.

De reclamespot komt op het juiste moment, omdat Phelps op 24 april terugkeerde in wedstrijdzwemmen tijdens de Arena Grand Prix Series in Mesa, Ariz. In de daaropvolgende wedstrijden in Charlotte, N.C. en Santa Clara, Calif. plaatste Phelps zich voortdurend in de top en won hij de 100 meter vlinderslag en de 100 meter rugslag op de Bulldog Grand Slam in Athens, GA.
